One of the common question by the student who is eager to go ahead faster than the syllabus is;

“Teacher, can we learn this {insert song title here} because I really like this song.”

But how if I don’t know that song?

To be honest, I don’t listen to mainstream music.

I don’t know 90% of song that for most of the people is a common song.

I stopped listening to mainstream music from around the year of 2005 – 2007 if I’m not mistaken. I don’t know why but most of them doesn’t appeal to me anymore.

It’s like my time have stopped.

The music I listen usually recycle among the songs that I heard during my childhood era such as Back Street Boys, Westlife and Linkinpark. There’s a lot more, but I guess you know what I mean. Those who came from this era of time when these artist are popular.
